Harlem Globetrotters & the Westin

Saturday we were lucky enough to get tickets to the Harlem Globetrotters! As you can see we had great seats (2nd row) on the court. Grandma, Ben & Olivia were first timers and they loved it. I haven't ever heard Ben laugh so hard in my life. He especially liked it when the coach of the Generals had to wear a tutu after losing the game. By the way, the Globetrotters haven't lost a game in 38 years! Grandma had gotten the kids a Globetrotters basketball and Ben had Globie and one of the players sign it after the game.
After the game, mom and I decided that since we were downtown and Olivia had already missed her nap that we should walk to the Westin, ride to the top and let the kids see the city. For those of you that haven't done this tradition in Atlanta, you have to at least once. It is the tallest hotel in the southeast (73 floors). The entire hotel is round so once you get to the top you have a 360 degree view of Atlanta. It is pretty impressive and normally the glass elevator that you ride up in is a little unnerving. This time the windows were blacked out for renovations. Ben was impressed with the skyline and how small the cars were, Olivia was not impressed at all. But then again she is 2.
