I'm in no way a seamstress but I made this easy skirt a few weeks ago for Olivia and it turned out way cuter than I thought it would. I love it and Olivia really really loves it.

She insisted that I take a picture of her sitting down in the skirt too. What a ham!

The McWilliams

For the last 3 days we have been having fun with our dear friends the McWilliams. We went dowtown, stayed up late, ate yummy food, laughed and talked. We are so grateful they drove all the way from Georgia to see us on their springbreak. They left his morning and we miss them already!

11 months

Our sweet Will turned 11 months yesterday. Here are some pictures throughout the last month.

And although I don't have a picture to prove it, he really loves pottys with the lids up. (if you know what I mean).

Other facts:

He finally has a tooth! It just came in a few days ago.

He is a champion crawler but prefers to slide on hardwood floor like an emperor penguin.

Loves to snuggle

Sings during sacrament meeting

Loves to look out the front windows for Ben's bus

Loves to splash in the bath (which is why he also loves the potty)

Doesn't like to be left out of wrestling and body slamming with Daddy, Ben & Olivia

Chases the vacuum around while I'm vacuuming.

Friends

A month after we moved to Chicago I was invited to Bunco. The ladies I met there have become fast friends over the last almost 2 years. They were so welcoming to me (they must have known I needed a friend) and made the transition of moving here so much easier. They are all smart, talented, funny, beautiful ladies that I have learned so much from. Throw in a delicious dinner, and what more can a girl ask for.
